We’re Hiring: Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable professional to join the team on a full-time contract.
💷 Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (dependent on experience)
About the role:
This position is ideal for someone with strong end-to-end Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience who can hit the ground running in a construction / civil engineering environment.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, but also working with the senior management team, you’ll play a key role in a busy, collaborative civil engineering business.
The business is on an exciting growth journey, and the role offers future progression, with exposure to management accounts, VAT returns and wider finance responsibilities.
This is a hands-on Accounts Payable role where you’ll be responsible for processing purchase invoices, handling supplier queries, bank reconciliations and supporting payment runs.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience
- Comfortable working in civil engineering/construction
- Available from March 2026
- SAGE experience highly advantageous
